Yeah that's why I say partially as well; I think that this was a sting of events. Trump definitely has a hand but the media also likes to hype things up and rile people up. I also think that it's on the supporters involved too; no one can make you do anything, they made their own choices to storm the capitol.

The flames were being fanned before Trump got in office - the mindsets these people more than likely existed before, but they gained more confidence as their beliefs were validated to an extent by Trump. Him and like others have said, branches of media. The crowd of course wasn't faultless by any means.

@NightFrog Yeah I think that this mentality definitely existed beforehand. But then it got majorly enabled and actively encouraged. Not just by Trump but by the media as well.
