End of Pt. 1
What was with these Salvatore kids? When they look at you - or stare in this case; and not just any stare, a stare that gives you the chills and ... makes you want more looks like those - they always seem to be staring directly into your soul, past all the cultivated facades that are brought upon you in high school. I thought, Bonnie better keep a hold of him, because he seems to have many inappropriate things working up in his mind. But I have to wonder ... Are they about me? It would seem so. Staring right at me. But ... he ... no. Bonnie and Damon were now a couple. He was staring at her. Of course.
Pt. 2
Bonnie picked up her sandwhich and banana, and went and sat down by him. I grab an apple and hesitantly, mind you, very hesitantly, went and sat down beside her. If it weren't for the fact that I knew I'd hurt her feelings if I hadn't, I would've gone and sat somewhere else. I could see her shocked face in my mind now. I almost laughed out loud, but stopped myself. Damon was still staring at me, although Bonnie was trying to talk to him about going to dinner that night. Apparently Damon just wasn't going to have that.
"Girl, will you just shut up?"
Bonnie's mouth hung open like somebody had slapped her.
"Excuse me?"
"I don't think you're good for me anymore." He finally broke his stare and turned to her.
Apparently Bonnie was shocked at the sudden change of direction this conversation had taken.
"All I asked wa-" Damon seemed to have some sort of trance on her. What was going on?
"You are no good for me."
"You know what, I think you're right. You are no good for me. Just a guy who likes to take advantage of innocent girls!" Bonnie got up and ran away.
"Really? Did you have to be so harsh?" I wasn't going to let him get away with this! He just crushed my best friends heart!
"What? It was bound to happen sometime." Crooked smile. Too beautiful to be human.
"Just not like this, idiot." I should've used a harsher adjective. Hey, what could I say? - he was right. I tried to warn her of that.
I got up and ran for Bonnie.
"Bonnie! Hey, Bonnie! Wait!" I screamed after her. She'd left through the door we came in and was almost to her car. Dang she was a fast runner.
"Elena, I do not want to talk about it now!"
"But, Bo-"
"Please! Not now!" She was sobbing uncontrolably.
"At least let me drive you home. You're in no condition to drive."
"No, I will be fine." Stubborn.
And with that she was gone. I guess I knew what I was going to do next - give Damon Salvatore a peice of my mind.
Still facing the parking stop where Bonnie's car had been, I decided I wouldn't do it today. I may take pyschcal action. Deep breath, Elena. Deep breath. I turned for the school building.
"Damon!" He was standing so close his body was pressed against mine ... and it felt wonderful. His pefect body, his chissled face ... beautifully blue eyes anyone would get lost in. Maybe this was what drew Bonnie to him. But ... not me.
"What a way to greet your boyfriend's brother, huh, Elena?" His words brought me back to reality.
"I'd rather not speak to the pig-headed, rude, ungentelmen-like, nasty, cowardice, stupid a-hole who just broke my best friends heart!" I screamed to him.
He was unphased.
"You're too kind. Please, stop it."
"I hate you."
"I love you too."
"What? That isn't even what I said!"
"Oh, I don't need you to say things out loud. I can read your eyes, and tell by your ... "-he reached his hand up to stroke my cheek-"... expressions." His breath tickled my lips.
He leaned in for the kill, coming closer, and closer, his eyes still never leaving mine.
If it weren't for that glint of satisfaction I saw in his eyes I wouldn't have been able to stop him. But I did, and slapped him.
"What was that for?" He hadn't expected that.
"Just because it worked on Bonnie, doesn't mean it will work on me."
"Oh it's on. You will fall for me. No one can resist me. You'll see."
"Right. When pigs fly." My sarcasm was evident.
"I can arrange that."
"Whatever. Fine. Let the games begin. And just be prepared to loose like the little girl you are."
"Love you too, Elena." His smile was beyond words.
"Leave me alone freak. And don't ever touch Bonnie again."
"Goodbye, Elena." I had already started to walk off.
What. A. Jerk. But he was going to see. Now what I knew my will could withstand, I knew I could win against his charm. It was only a matter of time before he'd try again. I was ready now. Nothing could stop me.
Comment! :)
