i really love movies etc. so its really hard for me to choose :( but from a cult film perspective, i think tim burton has the biggest "cult fan base" like his movies ed wood, etc.. the hype is not mainstream, its more cult fans

There's a load of other great directors on there, but I had to break the tie between Al and Tim. Seriously.

It's kind of a toss up between, Hitchcock, Fincher and Tarentino. It's so hard to choose, they're all excallent directors!

Boy, this was one of the most difficult picks I've had to pick from in quite a while! I love all of them except for Kevin Smith. I liked the actor (Ares on Xena), but don't care for the director.
I guess out of all of them, I've seen the greatest number of enjoyable films by Hitchcock, so I had to go with him.
