The Sinister Urge

I would have added more choices, but my computer won't let me do that. It also won't let me pick favorites, add any images, watch any videos, and a few other things. I'm usually lucky if the whole page appears the way it's supposed to.
I was going to list 'Glen or Glenda' as the second one, but if I did that I wouldn't have been able to make a pick on my own question. At least this time there's an option to add your own picks.
So far, I've seen seven of his films and 'The Sinister Urge' is my favorite. -- I think I was most amused with the cops who couldn't predict where the killer would strike next, and if I remember correctly, seeing Ed Wood get into a little rumble (or was that tumble?).

People don't understand that this wasn't plans 1-8, this is Plan 9, this is the one that worked. The worst movie ever made.

so the critics of the time said. 'Plan 9' is my second favorite by Wood. I wonder if it's true that he conned a minister into helping him fund it, or was that just a liberty taken with the script of Burton's 'Ed Wood'...

I watched this movie when I was very young. I didn't understand it but i liked it because I thought it was "spooky."

The octopus scene alone is worth it.

This was the first Ed Wood movie I saw, and made me fall in love with the guy! It is so so bad but amazingly entertaining! Glen or Glenda would be second, I got it on DVD for two bucks! What a bargain...

Great deal, ebathory! I wish I had his films on DVD. All the ones I own are on VHS, but thankfully, both of my VCRs still work.

Yeah, I've got Plan 9 on VHS, I'm sure you would be able to get at least that one on DVD but I've never seen it. They're the only two I own unfortunately.

Now you've got me in the mood to watch something of his. :P
The ones I've got on VHS are Bride of the Monster, Jail Bait, Glen or Glenda?, Night of the Ghouls, Plan 9 From Outer Space, The Sinister Urge, and The Violent Years. I can't remember if it's a documentary of not, but I've also got a tape called Ed Wood: A Look Back in Angora.
As for Plan 9, I think you're right about it being available on DVD, but until I can find a job, buying it or any other DVDs is out of the question. :(
