'Clockwork Orange'... still can't watch that movie. I don't know if it's because of the age I was (and naivity) when I first tried to view it, but I can't watch it. That scene just disturbed me too much.
As for 'Pink Flamingos'... my reaction was more like "did what I think happen, just happen?"
'Requiem for a Dream' was just trippy all the way around. For some reason it didn't phase me.

I think that the movie that most affected me with a rape scene, was one by Dario Argento. It's called 'The Stendhal Syndrome', starring his daughter Asia. It's probably the most disturbing film I've seen of his. If you're going to see it, make sure you see the uncut version. For anyone whole might still check out VHS tapes, I'm pretty sure it was released in both EP / SLP, and SP. The SP is the way to go... EP / SLP is far inferior in quality.

Cammie picked Night of the Living Dead (original):
Only saw this movie for the first time a few months ago. Looked like another b&w mild thriller UNTIL the zombies started to gnaw the humans -that was unexpectedly scary.

The Rape scene. I felt as if I had actually been witnessing a real rape in person and as a woman, it is something that can be very hard to watch because it happens to women everyday. It's just so creepy.

It was very disturbing because it was just so calm and calculated and you just keep thinking, "this could actually happen to me", it was so realistic, I still can't watch that movie! It lives at the back of my cupboard.

Completely awful film, but that scene was actually extremely effective! My mouth was an "O" of shock!

BrookeWarner picked Requim for a Dream - Jennifer Connally's x rated debut:
I think this might've been because I saw Requiem first, but either way, the idea the she willingly (in a slippery sort of way) did that...

I thought the movie was pretty good and was humorous in a way. I thought the rape scene with the cat lady was horrible but kind of odd. I hate how women now a days are looked at as objects but then again women do the same thing. Anyways I loved this movie and Requiem for a Dream. I can watch them over if I wanted to. The second one to last seems disturbing though about the cat. I never seen it but thats just cruel. I also haven't seen Audition but yet but really want to!
