William took Mark, and Rob towards the two cars. They were back in Jennings.
William: The moment you enter St. Louis is very important. You will keep the cops off your tail.
Rob: What if it's highway patrol, or state police?
William: Then you worry, but I doubt that'll occur. Good luck.
The two men got out, and William drove away.
Rob: I'll take the Mercedes.
Mark: That works out well. I wanted the Plymouth.
Rob: If nothing bad happens, stay on West Florissant Avenue. Otherwise, try to lose them on the smaller roads.
Mark: At night? I won't have any trouble doing that.
Not far away, Noah and Paul were waiting in their car.
Paul: Thanks for the coffee earlier.
Noah: Sure thing. Now we just wait for Rob to come towards us. Keep an eye on him in case he turns right instead.
Paul: Already on it.
Rob: *Following Mark out of the parking lot. They turn left and are heading towards Noah, and Paul*
Noah: There he is.
Paul: *Looks at Mark* That was Mark Whitaker in the Plymouth.
Song: link
Noah: Alright, we'll call for backup to get him. We will stay on Rob. *Following Rob, he puts his police light on*
Rob: We've been spotted.
Mark: That's an undercover cop. *Floors it*
Rob: *Takes a left through a parking lot, and goes onto Jenning's Station Road*
Mark: Good luck Rob.
Rob: *Looks back at the police car. He drifts to the right, going on Switzer Avenue*
Noah: *Stops as a station wagon cuts him off. He turns right, passing the station wagon, and follows Rob*
Rob: *Turns right on Dianthus Lane*
Noah: He did it this time. The road goes right, and he'll be back on Jenning's Station Road.
Paul: Unless he heads for the dead end.
Rob: *Going straight, heading for the end of the road*
Noah: Hey, you're right.
Paul: I know what he's doing. He's going across the train tracks.
Rob: *Goes into the grass, and across the train tracks*
Noah: *Goes across the train tracks, but gets a flat tire* Ah!! *Hits the dashboard* He's getting away.
Stop the song
Paul: Maybe we should forget about him, and focus on Mark.
Noah: *Looks at Paul in anger* You're absolutely right. Let's forget about a carjacker, and focus on someone less important.
Paul: It was only a suggestion.
Noah: I'm going to find a phone booth to call for a tow truck. *Walks out of his car, and stares at his flat tire* Son of a bitch!
