Charmed The sisters' representation

Right guys, I'm doing on essay on how women are represented in Charmed, focusing on the sisters, and I'd like to see how you as an online audience respond to the way in which the characters represent femininity.

For example: the way in which they challenge the gender stereotype in the earlier episodes as they don't rely on men as they fight evil while paying house bills themselves etc.

Just an idea. I'd really appreciate your comments on the subject :)

Thanks.

To me the Halliwell sisters represent good old girl power. They have jobs outside the housekeeping and they don't strictly follow the rules. And even though they all get married and get children, they don't need a man to protect them, but they just happen to fall in love.

The Halliwell sisters are very powerfull, and that`s because it`s so much history behing them. So,if you want you can give in your essay the Halliwell history, starting with Melinda Waren. They also love their free time,so you can tell what they do once they have a demon free day. ::)
