Angel is a vampire who was cursed with a soul, he's always moping about what an evil ass he was once,now he's helping Buffy to defeat the "forces of evil", falls in love with her, has a moment of true happiness which breaks the curse, then tries to kill Buffy, Willow is putting the curse back up. Drama drama and more drama, in the end Angel chooses to go to Los Angeles and fight his own fight with evil, since he wasn't able to have a normal relationship with Buffy.
