Help needed desperately! (preferably from those who've read the Bones books)

So, as an English project, we are to re-design the cover of a book we read during the semester based on a theme that was represented throughout the novel.

I chose Mortal Remains, one of Kathy Reichs' novels, and the theme I chose is appearence (deception and reality).

So basically, I need ideas on how to do the book cover. I'm using Photoshop, so yeah, if you have any ideas, please answer. :D
