Bones Question

Just watched Season 4 episode 21 (Mayhem on the cross)...?

I recently started watching Bones on netflix. My sister and I couldn't agree on who Sweets and Gordon Gordon were talking about.
They said one of them (Booth and Brennan)was aware of the attraction.

"Yes, one of them is acutely aware of that attraction. Struggles with it daily as a matter of fact."

And then when Sweets is watching Brennan put the handkerchief back in Booth's pocket. Sweets then said he saw what Gordon Gordon saw.

So is it Booth or Brennan that is aware of the attraction?

I said it was Booth and my sister said it was Brennan.

I know it's probably been awhile since most of you have seen 4x21, but if anyone remembers that episode...can you answer my question?

I personally think it's Booth at that point in time, but it's hard to say.

I honestly feel that it is Booth. He is very aware of his attraction and hers. Bones knows there is something there and struggles with it because she does not understand emotions. I think that is what makes this series so interesting there is a lot of underlying issues that must be resolved.
