I'm not sure exactly how Dahvie does his hair, but I am experienced in doing scene hair styles so I think I have a theory of how he does his. ^^;

This can be really confusing so I hope it helps.

I hope your friend has at least the length and layers of Dahvie's hair. Otherwise it won't work.

First get your hair wet, then when it is damp get a comb and brush all of it forward so it's not a tangled mess.

Then you have to dry your hair, so get a blow-dryer and your comb, turn your head upside down (Basically bending over) and dry it with the blow-dryer while using the comb to brush the back of your hair in the opposite direction. (That way when you flip your hair back up it's straight in the back and there's hair on the sides like Dahvie's. Plus it gives your hair volume. :P)

After that, get a hair straightener and straighten your bangs, the sides, and the back of your hair. Then get hairspray and spray your hair so it stays like that all day. (Don't use too much, though. ._.)

Now to make it stand up like his, it depends how long your hair is. (Like 3 or 4 inches in the back) Anyways spray hair spray on the part you want to stick outwards then run your fingers through it to tease it up. (Do that on both sides and the back of your hair)

Finally spray a little hair spray on the tips of your fingers and straighten individual tufts of hair by rolling your fingers together. That way it'll stick outwards and sideways.

That's a lot of writing and I hope it helped because it's a lot of instructions to go through. ._.'

And if their hair doesn't turn out the right way then I dunno. Maybe their hair just didn't wanna do that in the first place. Or I'm just really bad at explaining the process. ^^;
