the green arrow is also known as the emerald archer. influenced by Batman greatly because everybody liked him. with all the gadgets and things but he used arrows mostly. he was also influenced by robin hood too.one of the earliest comic book heroes in the 1940`s. which started with more fun comic73 1941 was the first incarnation of the green arrow, but it wasn't until 1959 they found out he actually was that he was Oliver queen a billionaire who got stranded on a deserted island and learned to use a bow to survive. there are a few ways he ended up there one is that his yacht either sank or he fell overboard. the other is a plane crash.this is where he became his own hero the influences of the batman were still there but they weren`t as noticeable as they were before. in the tv show, he is found by a fisherman but on the comics, he saves a ship from mutiny and they reward him by taking him back to the mainland. either way the stories the same he gets stranded on a deserted island and the rescued after that he becomes a hero who fights for the weak and mistreated.
