Thank you for understanding. And you're right, egyptprincess7. He did not care about idealizing the world; he was underhanded, a hypocrite, and purely evil and insane. He saw it all as a game, and only hated Near because he "wasn't entertaining enough", not because he was trying to stop him. Light ended up contradicting all that he claimed to stand for at the beginning of the anime.
I actually liked the guy at first. I thought he would become a sort of vigilante anti hero. However, once he showed he had no moral limits about using innocent people is when I lost respect for him.
Whenever I watch Code Geass I can hardly suppress the desire to smack Suzauku for doing something very stupid or being the naïve little idiot he is . He is such a generic hero character and is so naïve that he mostly get's in the way . For example , Zero helped him escape his own execution and yet Suzaku wanted to go back since he believed it was the right things to do . I was like seriously !!!! After Zero went through all that trouble to actually free you the first thing you want to do is go back and die . -_-
