They are wolves so they can't technically shit themselves (nor would they have pockets to carry a pistol in or apposing thumbs to hold it and shoot themselves). Another thing is that there are two strong (physically and emotionally) alphas in charge here so they would not give up but save themselves and Lilly too. My 2 cents worth anyways! lol
