Yes because it's about anthropomorphic animals. Plain and simple. That even means Balto, Lion King, Ratatouille, and many more of those kind of movies are furry films. It doesn't matter if "most" furries hate it considering that is an automatic invalid argument regardless of popular liking and/or disliking.
Also to anyone claiming that most furries hate this movie doesn't have any evidence. I've only seen 10-20 furries out of about 1,000,000 idiotically expressed that the movie was stupid. Not that it matters though.
The movie was a basic good movie as it is. Just could of added a little more. Yes, people are allowed to disagree with the so-called "criticism".
I don't know if anyone was responding to me or not, but regardless, I was basing my thoughts based off what I could remember and to anyone in general. In general for example: A few furries at a furry site where one was pretending their designs were better, another making an immature hunting thing, another on a forum pretending it didn't count as furry. One on here who's a furry maybe expressing hate, another, and maybe a couple more.
That's like under 20.
Now here's something interesting. The ones who could be furries that liked the movie are above 5,000 according to the fan count on this area of the site.
Maybe the rest that are furries: Generally no like or dislike: Many not knowing it, and some just simply don't care. Assuming either side is not a good idea to use as an auto therefor argument.
In response to the fan count - you have to remember that there have been literally hundreds of troll/fake accounts on here. Just because the fan count is high does not actually mean every single one of those users are actual fans. Even if an account is deleted the counter still does not change. Its a huge flaw in the system honestly. I would say out of the 5000 or so here maybe only 2000 or less are actual fans. Plus this club has been around since 2010 - almost 10 years ago, people could have liked the movie and grown to hate it. People grow up and their preferences change.
Yeah that's possible, though the convincing subjective side is still pretty strong to me. I believe it's possible during the time, there were likely more furries liking it. Those who no longer care could be the same for those who hated it too.
But either way, I don't see any evidence that most furries hated it. Even though it doesn't necessarily matter since it's still technically a furry film regardless.
Its hard to say but, theres no actual official description on what makes you a furry. Some could argue, even liking this film by a bit would make you a furry.
