I think it depends on the packs, but most likely it was banishment. If it was for the vicious packs like the rogues, it would either be beaten or execution.

^ Yeah I think so too. The Western and Eastern packs would've banished whoever broke pack law. As for the rogue pack or Daria's pack (prior to their leader dying), most likely the punishment would've been death since Daria's previous pack leader had no issues with killing her mother.
