With the ruges and her farther i wouldn't be surprised that she was abused in any way

I'd say tragic. Not only for what SapphireFox16 said, but also the possibility of her having lost pups (I mean, look at what kind of wolves she lives with and how she bonded with Runt), being abused by her parents or the other rogues, and who knows what other hellish things could've happened to her for how different she is from the other rogues.

I remember writing a small story about that a few months ago. It should still be here if not deemed too graphic and mature from the club. It was meant to symbolize the scene where Princess was carrying Runt through the snow and how Runt's fur was a snowish-like color for those 10 seconds.

Yep to bad they won't make a side movie about her past. I wouldn't mind seeing that

@SentinelPrime89: Funny I was actually going to mention a story about King mating with Princess because she produced weak pups and felt that was the only way to "solve the problem." I had no idea you wrote that. I read it on fanfiction.net a month or two ago.

Yep, that was me. It just felt the most believable to me since King clearly doesn't care for anyone other than himself and that includes his own daughter. Glad that Princess abandoned his ass on the battlefield.

Yeah, it seemed believable. And it's definitely one of the best A&O fanfics I read; up there with A&O2: Princess's New Life.

Yeah, so am I. After that, I was almost expecting Princess to be a wolf in Jasper for the later sequels. That could be why we see her in a cameo in A&O3. But then it wouldn't explain why King and other rogues are with her.

I re-read that and it's definitely the darkest A&O fanfic I've ever read, out of the 3 or 4 good ones I've read. Two of them are mating stories, so I guess those don't really count in comparing the ones I've read and liked.

I love the dark stuff. A reason why I put the first and fourth movies above the rest. And incest is indeed a dark way to go.

Same. With as many as I've seen, I almost can't bear to watch animated movies that aren't dark anymore. That's why I put Legend of the Guardians above every animated movie I've seen. And agreed - I'll probably put A&O4 above the other sequels, maybe even the first, once I get a chance to see it.

And my interest in dark animated movies could explain why I rewrote The Great Wolf Games (link) as a fanfiction and took a much darker route. An example is when Runt gets his right eye clawed out by Queen for being in love with Princess (after they were captured by the rogues). There's also the chapter when Princess and Runt are forced to compete in what I labeled "the blood sports" in my fanfics - basically the rogues' dark version of The Great Wolf Games that revolves only around fighting other wolves (sometimes to the death) - after they mated (as punishment for Runt being an Omega and mating with Princess, who had fled Banff to warn the Jasper wolves about her parents' plans).

And not to mention the biggest improvement - Claudette, Stinky, Runt, Fleet, and Magril are all adolescents in my version of A&O3. And it actually continues the rogue plot from A&O2, unlike what the movie did. And it's dark. Oh, is it dark. There's one death near the end that really ups how dark it is, but I won't say as it would ruin the story.

I may just write another fanfic like this one if I can think of a good idea. I consider it my best one.

And I forgot to ask this. How does your story explain why Runt had white fur in one scene? I didn't catch that.

The pup that Princess was forced to kill had the exact same fur color and was a male. So when Princess looks down at Runt while carrying him, he starts reminding her of the pup she lost so that's how she becomes his guardian and surrogate mother figure.

Funny, in my (unofficial) novelization of A&O2, I described Princess the exact same way. Never even though about that being her role in your short story when I wrote it.

Yeah, it also happened with the person who wrote A&O2: Princess's New Life when I wrote my first zombie story. I gave background to Princess and mentioned that Hutch had saved her life during the events of A&O2. I didn't know that story existed until after he had reviewed the chapter that background was given, mentioning how similar they were.

But since he said they were so similar, I changed how the entire scene went for my written version of A&O2 (and reference to it in other stories) and changed it to Claws rather than Hutch who (tried) saving Princess from King.

This is pretty much how I thought out Princess's life up until she met Runt-

1. When she was born, she was welcomed by her mother (similar body build to Claw's, just about a year or two older) who was a kind, gentle soul while her father Slash (not yet known as King) was, well... Slash. Slash foresaw a great future but feared that his wife's goodheartedness would consume Terra (not known yet as Princess) and make her weak.

2. After the Western and Eastern packs had united and the weddings were done, Slash, his wife and daughter plus any alpha who was against this desecration of pack law separated from Jasper and they traveled on to Banff where they would bide their time until Kate and Humphrey's children were born.

3. During this time, Terra had become an adolescent and Slash declared that it was time for her to begin to reproduce. Terra's mother lashed out at Slash and told him what a sick wolf he was for wanting their child to give pups at such a young age, especially a wolf who had no mate. A bloody fight began between the two wolves and ended tragically with Terra's mother having her throat brutally slashed open. She died before hitting the ground and Terra realized that she had lost her one hope of protection. Slash barely gave her time to grieve as he started raping her with the other wolves only watching. This continued on for many, many months and every time she gave a litter, the Alpha pups would be welcome while the Omegas would be murdered. This was also around the time when Slash demanded that Terra refer to him as King and he would call her Princess. (link) This continues the last of it.

4. Alpha And Omega 2

5. I have not yet figured of a way to continue her story from there.

That's a different representation of Queen/Princess's mother than my fanfictions. I depict Queen as being more brutal than King is. She's the only one of the two that actually hurt Princess or Runt in The Great Wolf Games (clawing Runt's right eye out).

The Queen in my fanfictions is probably the most hated wolf next to the rogue I called "Scava" (named for the Hollywood Undead song "S.C.A.V.A." that somewhat inspired my story Paradise Lost, also named for an HU song - "Paradise Lost," which also inspired a bit of the story) who kills Princess, Candy, Kate, and Humphrey in my first A&O fanfic (about the end of the world).

Scava also appeared in my version of A&O2, being the wolf who threatened Runt and got driven off a cliff by Princess. He also threatened to tear Runt's throat out and eat him if Kate and Humphrey didn't show up for him. Ends up getting killed by Princess when he tries to.

Yeah, my stories were dark from the start. (Paradise Lost and The Great Wolf Games are two of my oldest ones.)
