I voted Alpha and Omega 4 if we talk about premise, but between the two that have been released, Alpha and Omega 2 has the better plot because of how it included more of the original characters and was executed just like the plot of the original movie was. The only differences between the original and the second movie, in my eyes, are the animation and the running time.

That and the plot itself was more interesting because of the rogues, specifically Princess and the mother/son relationship she had with Runt. A&O3 didn't have any plot points that got to me like the sub-plot of Princess and Runt did. The relationship of Claudette and Fleet wasn't, in my opinion, as well-written as the relationship between Princess and Runt. Hopefully we see more of it in A&O4. Like I've said in the past, I will be very disappointed if Princess isn't the wolf Runt rescues.

If A&O2 was 90 minutes and had animation like the original, I doubt I'd be able to point out any differences between the two, and would say A&O2 is better than the original. But I can only wish now, can't I?
