^^Not always the case, Toy Story 2 got better ratings than the first. With a little work, A&O 2 could blow the first movie away in the box office, and get much higher ratings. Really no way to tell until it comes out lol

For a great movie alpha and omega only got 50 million in box office but did good in DVD sales ( i was suprised about the box office though :( )
