He uses Paint, and perhaps GIMP but i use GIMP & Photoshop CS5.1
He most likely got the idea from Call of duty zombies
And he makes them in his free time

i did get them drom COD zombies, i do do them on my free time, and i did use gimp ONCE to make a zombie
