Chapter 11: The Youngest Alpha
Back at the sandstone cliffs, Adam had begun to take on the role of pack leader. Even though he was the youngest alpha in the pack’s history, it had been going fairly well for him, the decisions he made being mostly simple ones. Although Steven was constantly giving him a hard time, questioning most of the orders that Adam gave.
For the first couple of days, the pack continued to live in the small clearing near the cliffside. There was a small lake nearby where they could get water, and the caribou were by no means in short supply. The rain, however, continued to be a problem. It had been raining on and off for the past couple of days and with nowhere to take shelter, the pack was forced to stay outside and try to take cover under the trees. It got so bad, that eventually, Adam was forced to make his biggest decision yet.
The pack needed a safe place to rest, away from the harsh elements outside. Adam had noticed a few days earlier, that the stone on the cliff was hard, yet rubbed off very easily, and it didn’t take much effort to dig into it. So, one day, he decided that they would build their new dens inside the cliff itself, and he called a pack meeting to tell everyone his plan.
“As you all know, things have been kind of touch-and-go ever since the attack,” Adam began. “And it’s been hard recovering from all the friends and family we lost that day. Since we got here, we’ve been sleeping outside in the rain and it hasn’t made us any less miserable. So, I think it’s time we did something about it and started building our new dens.”
Everyone looked around at each other, wondering if Adam was serious.
“And how do you plan to do that?” one of the wolves asked.
“Pretty easily, actually,” Adam replied. “This cliffside is made of sandstone and as it turns out, sandstone rubs off very easily, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to dig out the new dens.”
“Who died and made you leader?” Steven piped up. Everyone gasped in surprise at his remark.
“What?” he said, innocently.
Ron walked past Steven as he made his way over to Adam. As he passed by, he casually gave Steven a good whack on his head with his tail.
“You’re finally starting to make some big decisions on your own,” Ron said. “Jack and Mary would be proud.”
“Thanks,” Adam said. “Now let’s get to work.”
Over the next couple of weeks, the pack was hard at work, digging out the new dens in the side of the cliff. It was a long and tedious process and the dens weren’t very big. But Adam had everyone helping out, and he was sure that when they were done, they would be much better off than they were at the moment, living outside all the time, exposed to the many harsh elements the forest had to offer.
Steven, however, was not very enthusiastic about Adam’s plan and only went along with it because he had to. But one day, Steven reached his breaking point.
They had all been working hard as usual, when Steven suddenly stopped digging. Adam noticed and stopped his digging, walking over to him, wondering what was wrong.
“Steven,” he said. “Are you okay?”
“That depends on your definition of “okay”,” Steven replied.
“What do you mean?” Adam asked.
“I mean,” Steven said, a bit frustrated. “That this project to dig out our new dens in the cliff is a waste of time. We’ve barely made any progress in weeks and we’re still living outside without any protection and I’m sick of it. We should just abandon this place and move on.”
Adam was beginning to get upset at the fact that Steven called his plan a “waste of time”. The two began to argue loudly, which drew the attention of some nearby wolves.
“Hey,” Adam said. “This wasn’t an easy decision to make. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy making these new dens, but like you said, we need the shelter. Do you think I like digging in the dirt all day, Steven? Do you? I don’t. But I do it anyway because it’s the best thing for the pack. You’re always wondering why I was picked to be the leader of the pack? Well, even if I wasn’t next in line, maybe it’s because I look out for everyone in the pack, not just myself, something you seem to be sorely lacking.”
This enraged Steven so much that when Adam turned to walk away, Steven lunged at him out of anger and swiped at him with his claws. Steven hit Adam in his shoulder, giving him a deep wound. Adam yelped in pain and Emily rushed over to help, quickly attacking Steven as she did so. Mick, who was nearby, took notice and didn’t hesitate to speak his mind.
“Whoa,” he said to Adam. “Now I see why you got the hots for that one.”
Adam looked at him with a look of confusion on his face.
“What? I don’t have the hots for-“ he started but Mick cut him off before he could finish.
“Ha, ha. You chose well kid.”
Adam sighed as Emily rushed back over to his side.
“Adam!” she exclaimed. “Are you okay?”
“I’ll be fine,” Adam said, looking at the bloody claw mark on his shoulder. He looked over at Steven, who just turned and walked away.
“Steven,” Emily said, starting to go after him, but Adam stopped her.
“Let him go,” he said. “He needs some time alone.” He looked back at the crowd that had formed. “We all do.”
Emily helped Adam up and they slowly walked to the clearing, where Adam laid down to rest for the remainder of the day. He planned to have a much calmer talk with Steven in the morning, but right now, he needed rest.
The next day, Adam woke to a great commotion in the clearing. He staggered to his feet as he made his way toward the large crowd that had assembled in the center of the clearing, near the cliff.
“What’s going on?” he asked.
Emily turned away from the crowd and approached Adam.
“Emily, what’s happening?”
“It’s Steven,” she said.
Adam immediately became concerned, although he tried to hide it. After what happened the day before, he wanted to still feel mad at Steven, but truthfully, he was worried.
“He’s missing,” Emily continued. “He left and went into the forest while we were all sleeping last night.”
Adam looked over at the crowd, and then turned and walked to a small corner of the clearing and sat down. He began scribbling in the dirt with his claws as Emily walked over to him.
“Adam,” she said. “You’re not going to go after him?”
“Nope,” Adam said, still trying sound like he didn’t care. “He went his own way and made his own decisions. He can get along just fine without us.”
“So, that’s not a rescue plan you’re drawing in the dirt?” Emily asked with a grin, looking down at the plan that Adam was drawing.
Adam looked down at the dirt and the plan that he had scribbled in it.
“No,” he said, as if what Emily was suggesting was insane. But he eventually gave in after a few moments.
“Yes.”
Over the next couple of days, Adam sent out many search parties to try and find Steven, but he continued to elude them. Eventually, Adam was regretfully forced to call off the search for Steven for the greater good of the pack, as they had gone a week without working on the new dens and winter was fast approaching. Adam’s wound on his shoulder eventually healed, but not all the way. In its place, was left a scar in the shape of a claw mark, a scar Adam would carry with him for the rest of his life.
Steven, in the meantime, had left the pack with no intention of returning, no matter what troubles he faced in the forest. He stayed true to his intentions and never returned to the Central Pack, instead living in the forest for many, many years to come. He eventually made his way to the Southern Region, the only region of Jasper that wasn’t inhabited by a single wolf pack. As he grew older, Steven slowly began creating a pack of his own and eventually, the Southern Pack was formed. But it would be a long time before Adam and Steven crossed paths again.

Hey., I'm back with more reviews..
However, only thing this story proves, it's that NO ONE is safe from being made into clopping.
The story starts off innocent enough.
It's about those lovely veggie wolves, starting at the scene where Shaky recommended them in order to get Humphrey to forget about Kate, but Humphrey showed zero interest in the two girls.,
Anyway..
Appearently after their non speaking, tiny role, they go into the forest to get more Barries, and I think berrie juice sprays on Janice.,
And of coarse.
Sense this is the bizarre world of fanfiction, this soon leads to two STRAIGHT girls having sex with each other (girls are so fuckin lucky,. The only way guys can make 'expirements' hot, is in hell bellow).
Anyway.
Obviously I wouldn't exactly recommend this story to most people.,
I mean.
If I wanted to see girl on girl porn, I would go to a porn site (not that I do).
Anyway.
Peace out everybody!

Hiya friends... How are you guys doing ? This article... It's just something I need to share... I was never this dramatic and I don't want to sound dramatic but...well my life is kinda messed up right now and... I just wanted to remember the times I watched alpha and omega and visited this club... they were good times for me.
I miss those days even if they were somehow bad for me, I used to worry too much about things in this group but... those concerns weren't near as big as the things I am going through right now...
Well...that's all...I just wanted to get this off my chest... I miss the old days and I miss you guys...
