Two days ago, during a routine conversation with her mother, my Sweets(LIL-Sweets) started having a sort of seizure from a condition unique to clones called genetic dissembly. Basically, this causes the DNA in the cells to break down. There is only one short term cure, as of the writing of this, and that is a shot of blood taken from the individual which the clone was created from. In this case, it would be Sweets and her daughter, or mother, or whichever way you want to say it.
What happened was I, somewhat hopelessly for some reason, called out to Sweets the first that I needed a sample of her blood. Being the sweetheart that she is, she was instantly here. Without even telling Rich, she had 'ported here. Now, I know that she did it to make sure her daughter was safe, but what she did next was even better.
She promised to stay around here until she was one hundred percent sure that her daughter was safe.
As it was, the night she had shown up, once her daughter had gone to sleep, I was able to take a few extra samples, just in case her daughter had another episode. Which she did.
At the time of her second episode, Sweets was out on a girls day with Scar and Jenna. I sent Scar a message asking her to tell Sweets that she needed to 'port back. Unsurprisingly, the next instant, she was here, and holding down her baby girl so I could administer the injection.
That night, Sweets didn't leave her daughter's side. At one point, somehow, I'd managed to carry both of them at once into the living room. She was that dead set against being separated from her daughter, no matter how shortly.
Sweets has basically been the mother that I never had, and I thank her from the bottom, top, sides, inside, and outside of my heart for that and what she's done for me and my family. There was a time a while back that I was considering leaving this site, which may be news to some of you. The first person I told of my plans was Sweets, and naturally, she did her damnedest to make sure I felt at home and wanted.
She succeeded.
Sweets has done so much for me and my family that no matter what I can come up with to repay her, it seems insignificant. I mean, the other week, I had a thirty thousand quid Subaru Impreza and a one hundred and eighty thousand quid Audi R8 shipped up to that house, and still, I didn't feel like I had repaid them at all. It takes some serious shit to make that the case.
Sweets has been there for me, her daughter, Scar, my daughter Jeena, Kodi (even though he still gets slapped by everyone), and Ela, and has never wavered in her dedication to us, and the rest of her pack family.
I know, without a doubt, that if it ever came to a situation where it was required, that she would take a bullet for me, any member of my family, or any member of her pack that she loves unconditionally... Which is basically everyone.
Sweets, hon, I know you're going to read this, and that's why I wrote it. I've never fully explained what I felt and how I felt about what all you've done for us. I wrote this rather lengthy article to tell you how much I love you as family, and that I truly am grateful for you.
As I said once before, "Without you, Wolfpack Motorsports doesn't race! Without you, our engines stay off, our tires cold. Without you... the heart of WPMS is dead..." That statement is, and always will be, true. But it goes so much further than that. Without you here by our side, at least as far as I can see, the collective heart of our beloved Alpha and Omega club here doesn't beat the way it should. When you were up in Jasper, I could tell that everyone seemed a little down. But, when you emerged from the fog, metaphorically speaking, it sped right back up!
Sweets, we love you, all of us do. I speak for everyone that knows you when I say that you are utterly FANTASTIC!
