when and were was ac/dc's first gig

AC/DC played their first gig at a club called Chequers in Sydney, Australia on New Years Eve, 1973. By then the band was made up of Malcolm and Angus Young, Larry Van Kriedt on bass, Dave Evans on vocals, and Colin Burgess on drums. Hope it helped.
